About these terms
By accessing our website, creating an account or placing an order with Blomdahl Australia, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These terms apply to purchases made through our Australian consumer website. Separate terms may apply to approved wholesale customers, professional piercing partners, training services or other business-to-business arrangements.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Products and product information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions, materials, pricing and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, product colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device, lighting and individual product variation.
From time to time, we may update product descriptions, packaging, availability or specifications.
Information provided on our website about piercing, healing, aftercare, sensitive ears or jewellery is provided for general information only. If you have concerns about an infection, allergic reaction, medical condition or healing problem, please seek appropriate professional or medical advice.
Pricing
All consumer prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless clearly stated otherwise.
Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.
We may change our prices from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us.
If an obvious pricing or website error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilling the order. If we are unable to fulfil an order because of an error, stock issue or other genuine problem, we will provide an appropriate refund for any amount already paid.
Orders
When you place an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide — including your name, email address, delivery address and order details — is accurate.
You will receive an order confirmation after placing your order.

We may need to decline or cancel an order in limited circumstances, including where:
  • an item is unexpectedly unavailable;
  • there is an obvious pricing or website error;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
  • we are unable to lawfully fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Changing or cancelling an order
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will always do our best to help, but once an order has been packed or dispatched we may not be able to change or cancel it. Our Returns & Refunds Policy will then apply.
Payments
Payments are processed using secure third-party payment providers made available through our ecommerce platform.
We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment card details.
The payment methods available to you will be displayed during checkout and may change from time to time.
Promotions and discount codes
Promotional offers, discount codes and special pricing may be subject to additional terms, including expiry dates, eligible products, minimum spends or usage limits.

Unless otherwise stated:
  • only one promotional code may be used per order;
  • promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders; and
  • promotions may be changed or withdrawn where reasonably necessary.
Nothing in a promotion limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Website availability
We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
Occasionally, the website may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues or matters outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website — including photographs, graphics, designs, text, product information, logos and other material — is owned by Blomdahl Australia, its licensors or other relevant rights holders.
You may view and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Our content must not be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, distributed or used commercially without permission from the relevant rights holder.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability, consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth laws.
This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your Blomdahl purchase.

This policy explains our change-of-mind policy as well as your rights if something is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of the change-of-mind conditions below.
Change-of-mind returns
We offer change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must:
  • be unused and unworn;
  • be in its original condition;
  • have all original packaging and labels;
  • have any hygiene or protective seal intact; and
  • be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide return instructions.
Earrings, jewellery and hygiene-sensitive products
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns for earrings, piercing jewellery or other hygiene-sensitive products once the item has been worn, used, opened from sealed hygienic packaging or otherwise cannot reasonably be resold for hygiene reasons.
This hygiene restriction applies only to change-of-mind returns.
It does not limit your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind return shipping
Unless otherwise agreed, customers are responsible for the cost of returning an eligible change-of-mind item.
Original shipping charges are generally not refundable for a change-of-mind return unless required by law.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning products.
Faulty or damaged products
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us with:
  • your order number;
  • a description of the issue; and
  • photographs where these will help us assess the problem.
We may reasonably ask to inspect or assess a product before determining the appropriate remedy.
Where a product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, we will provide the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law.
If a product is confirmed to have a problem covered by Australian Consumer Law, we will also reimburse reasonable return postage costs where required.
Incorrect item received
If we have accidentally sent you the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will arrange the appropriate solution, such as sending the correct item and providing return arrangements for the incorrect item, at no additional cost to you.
Individual sensitivities
Everyone's skin and body can respond differently to jewellery.
If you experience irritation or sensitivity while wearing one of our products, please stop using the product if appropriate and contact us so we can better understand what has happened.
Where you have concerns about an infection, significant swelling, persistent pain, allergic reaction or another medical issue, please seek appropriate medical or professional advice.
An individual sensitivity does not necessarily mean a product is faulty; however, nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds
Once a return has been received and approved, any applicable refund will be processed back to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
After we process a refund, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the funds in your account.
Proof of purchase
We may request reasonable proof of purchase when processing a return or consumer guarantee claim.
This could include:
  • your order confirmation;
  • receipt;
  • order number; or
  • another record reasonably demonstrating that the product was purchased from us.
If you have any questions about an order, delivery, return, these Terms & Conditions or our privacy practices, please contact us.
