It's a biocompatible polymer developed for medical use, the same category of material used in surgical implants. It won't corrode, discolour or react with skin the way base metal alloys can.
Are these actually nickel free?
Blomdahl releases close to zero nickel, tested to the EU's strictest limit for jewellery inserted into piercings. If you react to most earrings, this is built for you.
Are they safe for children?
